Hansie is a renowned South African puppet designer, fabricator, and manipulator with a distinguished career in theatre and puppetry. Artistic Director of The Little Marionette Company since 1975, his work has been showcased internationally. He has contributed to over 70 theatre productions, 30 children’s TV series, and major global events, including the 2023 Asian Soccer Cup. A celebrated educator and award nominee, Hansie excels in directing, set and costume design, and sculpture. He is currently part of the design team for THE HERDS.
