The Herds continue their stampede across the world as they arrive in Rotterdam as part of the International Community Arts Festival (ICAF).
On Friday 27 March, the animals travel through Beijerlandselaan, Rotterdam South, creating a striking encounter between nature and the urban landscape. As the animals move through the streets, audiences are invited to reflect on climate change, migration, and the fragile relationship between humans and the natural world.
On Saturday 28 March, The Herds arrive to the heart of the city at Rotterdam City Hall. A herd of life-sized animal puppets moves through the streets, creating a striking confrontation between nature and the urban landscape. Created with guest artist Jordy DIK and his award-winning DIK Danstheater.
