And both Mamadou Sene and Hanna Andersson.
Mamadou Sene is a traditional folk musician, born in rural Senegal and came to Sweden over 25 years ago. Here he has been educated at the Royal Academy of Music and has participated in several different groups. His instrument Ritin is a single-stringed violin, a common instrument among nomads all over Africa
Hanna Andersson is vocalist with a bachelor's degree in traditional Swedish folksinging and the vocal technique of the traditional herdingcall kulning from the Royal college of music. During her time in the old summer farms of Dalarna, known as fäbodar, she has practised the tradition, and her herdingcall sounded in the same forests as some of the most renownd bearers of the tradition.
