Leslie Davenport is an internationally recognized climate psychology educator, consultant, and therapist, working at the intersection of climate, education, policy, media, and social justice. She is the author of five books, including Emotional Resiliency in the Era of Climate Change for clinicians, as well as All the Feelings Under the Sun and What to Do When Climate Change Scares You for younger audiences, both published by the American Psychological Association. An APA Climate Emotions workbook for adults will be released in 2026. A founding member of one of the largest integrative medicine programs in the U.S., Leslie advocates for a public health approach to eco-emotional support. She regularly contributes to the Gen Dread “Ask a Climate Therapist” column and serves as an advisor to organizations such as the Post Carbon Institute, Climate Mental Health Network, and One Resilient Earth. Leslie also leads the Climate Psychology Certification program at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
