Maja Frydén is a lyric dramatic soprano from Stockholm, Sweden. She got her degree in opera at University college of Opera (Operahögskolan) in Stockholm and at Koninklijk Konservatorium/DNOA in Den Haag, The Netherlands.
Maja has, since her graduation in 2015, frequently been hired as a solist in many opera productions and concerts venues such as Swedish Royal Opera, Sveriges Television (SVT), Dansens hus in Stockholm, Vattnäs Konsertlada, Parkteatern and many more.
Maja was appointed the 2020 years Bayreuth scholarship and was last year chosen as the opera soloist for the National Day celebration broadcasted on Swedish National Television (SVT) last year, 2024.
