Sashka is an actress, physical theater performer and movement artist, born in Moscow. Graduated from École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq, she is now based in Paris and works with several theater and circus companies. She is the co-creator and performer in Ou reste encore un peu (MINIKIN company), now touring in France and internationally. Since touring with The Herds, she has joined the Rémue Menage circus company as a puppeteer in their new creation Canopée.
For Sashka, THE HERDS is a rare mix of activism and beautiful art, and represents one of the most powerful ways artists can respond to the things that worry us in the world. Being part of the project was a life-changing experience that she could never have imagined, and one that continues to live on in how she approaches other parts of her artistic journey.
