Silva Rawnsley is a dancer and performance artist, based in the UK. She specialises in interdisciplinary performance. Alongside her performance work she is an activist, keen cook and gardener and the cofounder of a tree planting charity, TreeByTree.
THE HERDS is am amazing opportunity for me as a young performer and climate activist to combine my passions. Growing up in a very rural area, I have watched the destruction of much of the nature in my local area, through water polution, unethical farming practices and plant diseases. THE HERDS is a way for me to take action and have a voice in a larger global conversation on the climate crisis.
